These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of vettedhomeworks.com (the "Site") and the lead-matching service offered by Vetted Homeworks, a brand of ByteWorth Solutions LLC ("Vetted Homeworks," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or submitting a request, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
What Vetted Homeworks Is
Vetted Homeworks is a referral and matching service. We connect homeowners with independent, third-party local contractors and service providers ("Pros"). We are not a contractor, we do not perform home-improvement work, and we are not a party to any agreement you enter into with a Pro. Any work, estimate, contract, pricing, scheduling, warranty, and payment is solely between you and the Pro.
No Endorsement or Guarantee
While we screen the Pros we work with, we do not guarantee the qualifications, licensing, insurance, availability, workmanship, conduct, pricing, or results of any Pro. You are responsible for evaluating a Pro before hiring them, including confirming their license and insurance and reviewing any contract. We are not responsible or liable for the acts, omissions, work, or conduct of any Pro.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a legal homeowner or authorized decision-maker for the property to use the Site and submit a request.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information in your request.
- Use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to submit false, spam, or fraudulent requests.
- By providing your phone number, you consent to be contacted as described in our Privacy Policy, including by phone, text, automated technology, and prerecorded messages, even if your number is on a Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
No Fee to Homeowners
Submitting a request and being matched is free to homeowners. Any fees for actual home-improvement work are set and charged by the Pro under your separate agreement with them.
Intellectual Property
The Site and its content — including text, graphics, logos, and the Vetted Homeworks name and mark — are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our prior written permission.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and the matching service are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vetted Homeworks and ByteWorth Solutions LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising out of or related to your use of the Site, the matching service, or any interaction or agreement with a Pro. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site or service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vetted Homeworks, ByteWorth Solutions LLC, and our officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your dealings with any Pro.
Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to or reference third-party websites and services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, or practices.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted on this page, and we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
